About Us
General John J. Pershing Memorial Hospital DBA Pershing Health System is a 25 bed Critical Access Care facility that opened for business as a Not-For-Profit Hospital January 11, 1960 located in Brookfield MO. seeing the need to offer a larger scope of services Pershing Memorial celebrated a Grand Opening for their new Outpatient Facility October 4, 2008.
At that time a State of the Art Emergency Room was included in Pershing’s addition in 2008 as well as a new Laboratory and Radiology Department. Community Medical Associates was brought into the hospital walls to provide more convenient access to ancillary departments.
Renovation included: employee dining room, kitchen and moving of the business office.
October 31, 2011 was the start of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) use, over the past 2 years we have made several changes to the system and continue improving this process. We will soon be adding more features to help you stay better informed as our patient.
Fall of 2012 Pershing Health System added Occupational Therapy to their rehabilitative services department with a full time OT and a part time COTA.
We provide care for all ages and provide a full range of services from our Clinic, ED, Outpatient Surgery, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therabpy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology and Lab Services.
